Align your credentials to USMCA professions
TN admission at Ryan Companies requires your role to appear on the USMCA professions list. For construction and real estate, engineers and architects qualify clearly, but project managers must show their duties meet the engineer or management consultant category definition before pursuing an offer.
Target Ryan's technical and development teams
Ryan Companies structures hiring around preconstruction, design, and project delivery. TN roles most commonly sit within these groups. Filtering your job search to structural, civil, or MEP engineering openings will land you in the departments where TN admission is a known and accepted pathway.
Request a detailed support letter from your employer
Ryan Companies issues an offer letter you present at the border or consulate. That letter must describe your specific role, your qualifying credentials, your wage, and how the position fits a recognized USMCA profession. Vague letters are the leading cause of TN delays at the port of entry.
Check your TN employer history before applying
Use Migrate Mate to review Ryan Companies' TN and broader work visa activity by role and location. Knowing which job titles they've previously supported helps you tailor your application materials and confirm your target position has a realistic path to TN admission.
Verify your wage meets prevailing levels before signing
While TN doesn't require a formal DOL wage certification, your offered salary should align with market rates for your occupation and location. Run an OFLC Wage Search for your job title and metro area to confirm your offer won't raise questions about the legitimacy of the position.
Prepare your professional documents before the border crossing
At a land port of entry, CBP officers make TN decisions on the spot. Bring your degree certificate, professional license if applicable, your offer letter, and a resume that maps your qualifications to the USMCA profession you're claiming. Missing any one document typically means a same-day denial.
Ryan Companies US, Inc. TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ryan Companies U.S., Inc. sponsor TN visas?
Yes, Ryan Companies U.S., Inc. supports TN admission for qualified Canadian and Mexican professionals. Rather than filing a petition, the company issues a detailed offer letter describing the role and your qualifying credentials. You present that letter at a U.S. port of entry or consulate to obtain TN status directly.
Which roles at Ryan Companies U.S., Inc. typically qualify for TN admission?
TN-eligible roles at Ryan Companies tend to sit within engineering, architecture, and project management functions. Civil, structural, and MEP engineers are the most straightforward fit given the USMCA professions list. Management consultants and certain planners may also qualify depending on how the specific position is defined and documented.
How do I start the TN process with Ryan Companies U.S., Inc.?
Once you have a signed offer letter from Ryan Companies that specifies your role, USMCA profession category, and wage, you proceed directly to a U.S. port of entry if you're Canadian, or a U.S. consulate if you're Mexican. There's no USCIS petition involved. The quality of that offer letter largely determines the outcome.
How long does TN admission take when working with Ryan Companies U.S., Inc.?
For Canadian nationals crossing by land, CBP typically adjudicates TN admission the same day. Mexican nationals applying at a U.S. consulate can expect a standard nonimmigrant visa appointment timeline, which varies by post. USCIS premium processing is not applicable to TN because there's no petition filed.
How do I find open TN-eligible jobs at Ryan Companies U.S., Inc.?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at Ryan Companies filtered by visa type and employer hiring history, making it easier to identify positions with a realistic TN pathway. Focus on engineering, preconstruction, and development roles, and confirm through O*NET that your target job title maps to a recognized USMCA profession before applying.
How does TN visa admission work at Ryan Companies US, Inc.?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Ryan Companies US, Inc., while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
