About us
Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S. Only 4% of commercial rooftops host solar today — we’re changing that, fast. Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power — delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America’s energy and future right where it’s needed most. By turning rooftops into local power plants, we’re reshaping how — and how fast — energy gets built in the U.S.
Recognized as the #1 Distributed Generation Developer by New Project Media, the #1 National Commercial Rooftop Solar Developer by Solar Power World, and winner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grand Prize for Clean Energy, Solar Landscape is defining the future of energy generation in America.
Headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Solar Landscape has offices in Chicago, Baltimore, and New York City and operates in over a dozen states nationwide.
We move fast, solve hard problems, and take our work seriously — but never ourselves. We value clear thinking, accountability, and execution. At the same time, we’re collaborative by default, and believe the best work happens when people enjoy working together. Our team is made up of smart, grounded people who show up for each other — whether that’s troubleshooting a system design or catching up over lunch.
If you’re looking to do meaningful work in a high-performance environment — and be part of the team reshaping how energy gets built in the U.S. — we’d love to meet you.

Match your occupation to USMCA professions
TN admission is limited to occupations explicitly listed under USMCA. Before applying to Solar Landscape, confirm your role falls under a qualifying category like engineer, scientist, or computer systems analyst using O*NET to verify the job duties align precisely with your credential.
Target Solar Landscape's engineering and operations teams
Renewable energy companies like Solar Landscape hire TN candidates most consistently in project engineering, electrical design, and environmental science. Focus your application on these technical functions where your degree directly maps to the role description Solar Landscape posts publicly.
Request a detailed offer letter covering TN requirements
Solar Landscape's offer letter must state your job title, USMCA profession category, employer details, intended duration, and that the role is temporary. Confirm all six elements are present before traveling to the port of entry or scheduling your consular appointment.
Verify your credential equivalency before the border
Canadian and Mexican three-year degrees are sometimes questioned at ports of entry for TN admission. If your credential differs from a standard four-year U.S. bachelor's degree, obtain a formal credential evaluation from a NACES-member agency before your Solar Landscape interview process concludes.
Search Solar Landscape's open roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to identify Solar Landscape positions filtered for TN-eligible candidates. The platform surfaces roles by visa type and employer, so you can confirm active openings in renewable energy before reaching out to Solar Landscape's recruiting team directly.
Prepare for TN renewal timing with Solar Landscape
TN status is granted in three-year increments with no statutory limit on renewals. Coordinate with Solar Landscape's HR team at least 90 days before your current TN expires so your updated offer letter is ready for either a border renewal or consular appointment without gaps in your authorization.
Solar Landscape TN Visa Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Solar Landscape sponsor TN visas?
Yes. Solar Landscape supports TN admission for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying USMCA occupations. The company issues offer letters that you present at a U.S. port of entry or consulate. There is no USCIS petition involved. Your eligibility depends on your occupation matching an approved USMCA profession and your credentials supporting that classification.
Which roles at Solar Landscape typically qualify for TN admission?
Solar Landscape's TN-eligible positions are concentrated in engineering, environmental science, and project operations. Roles such as electrical engineer, civil engineer, environmental scientist, and computer systems analyst align with USMCA profession categories. Sales, general management, or administrative roles typically do not qualify unless they map directly to a listed USMCA occupation.
How do I start the TN process with Solar Landscape?
After receiving a job offer, ask Solar Landscape's HR team for a TN support letter covering your job title, USMCA category, employer information, and intended employment duration. Canadians can present this letter directly at a U.S. port of entry. Mexican nationals schedule a visa interview at a U.S. consulate. USCIS is not involved in either pathway.
How long does TN admission take when starting at Solar Landscape?
Canadian nationals admitted at the border typically receive a decision the same day. Mexican nationals applying at a U.S. consulate face timelines that vary by post and appointment availability, often ranging from a few days to several weeks. Build in buffer time before your Solar Landscape start date to account for consular scheduling variability.
How do I find TN-eligible job openings at Solar Landscape?
Migrate Mate lists Solar Landscape roles filtered by visa type, making it straightforward to identify positions where TN admission is supported. Confirm that each role's listed job duties correspond to a USMCA profession before applying. Direct outreach to Solar Landscape's recruiting team noting your TN eligibility can also accelerate the conversation during the hiring process.
How does TN visa admission work at Solar Landscape?
TN status is granted under the USMCA treaty — there is no USCIS petition or Labor Condition Application required. Canadian citizens can apply directly at a U.S. port of entry with an offer letter from Solar Landscape, while Mexican citizens must first obtain a TN visa at a U.S. consulate. The role must match one of the professions listed in USMCA Appendix 1603.D.1. Migrate Mate filters TN job listings to roles that fall within the eligible profession list.
