Document service experience in concrete terms
H-2B petitions require evidence that the role is genuinely temporary and that qualified U.S. workers aren't available. Frame your customer service history around specific environments, like fuel retail, convenience, or lodging, since those map directly to Town Pump's operations.
Target locations with seasonal demand spikes
Town Pump operates across Montana, where tourism and travel seasons drive predictable staffing surges. Applying to locations near high-traffic tourist corridors improves your odds, because H-2B sponsorship is tied to demonstrable temporary need at a specific worksite.
Apply before the H-2B cap fills each fiscal year
The H-2B program runs against a congressionally set annual cap, split across two half-year periods. Petitions submitted after the cap closes can't be approved until the next period, so timing your application to align with Town Pump's early hiring cycle matters significantly.
Confirm your role qualifies under H-2B definitions
Not every customer support function at Town Pump qualifies as H-2B eligible. The role must be temporary or seasonal, not a permanent ongoing position. Review how DOL classifies the specific worksite opening before assuming your application will proceed without complications.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles with active sponsorship
Filtering for customer support openings at companies with a confirmed H-2B track record saves significant time. Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Town Pump roles where visa sponsorship is already part of the hiring process, so you're not guessing.
Respond quickly once an offer is extended
After Town Pump extends an offer, the employer initiates DOL prevailing wage determination and files the H-2B petition with USCIS. Delays on your end in returning signed forms or completing background checks can push the filing past worksite start dates, causing the petition to lapse.

Does Town Pump sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Town Pump's documented sponsorship activity for customer support roles falls under the H-2B program, not the H-1B. H-1B is designed for specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field, which doesn't match the typical requirements for customer support positions in hospitality and fuel retail. H-2B is the relevant pathway here.
Which visa types are commonly used for Customer Support roles at Town Pump?
The H-2B nonimmigrant visa is the primary pathway for customer support roles at Town Pump. It covers temporary non-agricultural workers in hospitality and retail service environments. The program requires the employer to demonstrate the position is temporary or seasonal and that insufficient U.S. workers are available, which fits Town Pump's operational model across its Montana locations.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Customer Support roles at Town Pump?
Town Pump customer support roles typically require direct experience in a customer-facing service environment, such as convenience retail, fuel stations, lodging front desks, or similar hospitality settings. Comfort handling transactions, managing guest interactions during high-volume periods, and working across shift schedules are practical requirements. Formal credentials are less critical than demonstrated service experience.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Town Pump?
You can browse current Town Pump customer support openings with active H-2B sponsorship through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa type and employer track record. Once you identify a relevant opening, apply directly and flag your need for H-2B sponsorship early in the process so the hiring team can align your start date with their DOL and USCIS filing timeline.
How do I understand the timeline for H-2B processing at Town Pump?
The H-2B process involves multiple stages: DOL prevailing wage determination, job order posting, temporary labor certification, and USCIS petition review. From the start of that sequence to a visa being issued typically takes several months. Town Pump must initiate the process well before the intended start date, so connecting with their HR team early in the hiring cycle is essential.
