Job Description
More about our mission and what we offer. Wise Platform takes all of the world-class payments products Wise has built over the last 15 years and enables hundreds of millions of consumers and businesses to access them in the places where they already move and manage their money - with banks and online platforms. Today, we’re already powering payments for some of the world’s top neobanks like Monzo, N26, and Nubank, alongside a growing list of leading global banks such as UniCredit, Morgan Stanley and Standard Chartered. In the online platforms space, we’re powering payments for partners across a whole range of industry verticals and use cases. Whether that’s leading marketplaces like Google, Agoda, or Upwork, workforce management tools like Deel, or investment platforms like Interactive Brokers - we’re bringing the power, simplicity, and transparency of Wise to even more people and businesses. And, we’re just getting started! Wise Platform is one of the newest and fastest growing products at Wise. We’re a global and highly cross-functional team, spearheading Wise's next phase of growth!
THE ROLE
We're looking for a Senior Regional Analyst (Northam) to join our deal-flow analytics team in Wise Platform. You will partner with our Commercial and Delivery teams based in North America, empowering them with data and insights to drive growth. Your analysis and sales intelligence will enable us to optimise sales and delivery processes, reduce time to revenue and drive team performance. If you’re a commercially minded analyst, with a knack for bringing data to life and passion for helping businesses grow, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- You will deliver high-impact, scalable data solutions such as building and maintaining robust reporting models and data products that directly support the sales and delivery team's efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for our commercial and delivery teams, with a laser focus on revenue as a core metric, ensuring clear measurement and understanding of team performance, alongside providing actionable recommendations to drive commercial objectives.
- You will be leveraging advanced analytics, crafting dashboards and visualisations that bring commercial performance data to life, tell a clear story, and offer diagnostic power:
- For the Sales Team: Analysing sales pipeline health, deal velocity, stage conversion rates, and win/loss reasons. You'll build reports to track individual sales representative performance against quotas, identify top performers, and pinpoint areas for improvement. This includes leveraging Salesforce's opportunity management, forecasting, and activity tracking features.
- For the Pre-Sales Team: Monitor engagement metrics (e.g., number of RFIs, technical discussions), the impact of pre-sales activities on deal progression and win rates, and the efficiency of their resource allocation. You'll create visibility into their contribution to the sales cycle and quantify their impact.
- For the Implementation/Delivery Team: Track, monitor and predict key metrics and data points across the project lifecycle. Work with the team to identify risks and opportunities to improve the speed and quality of implementations, which ultimately allows us to reduce time to revenue and successfully scale solutions with partners.
- You will collaborate with analysts in the team to enhance our forecasting capabilities. This allows us to performance manage the business, teams and partners - alongside supporting operational teams to capacity plan effectively.
- You will shape how we leverage data to sell Wise Platform, identifying key insights and crafting compelling data-driven narratives that empower commercial teams to convert prospects into partners.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- You have experience working in a high-growth B2B tech environment and have worked closely with commercial teams before.
- You are solution-oriented and able to own projects from start to finish. You are comfortable motivating stakeholders across Wise and negotiating timelines to unblock yourself and make things happen!
- You are an excellent communicator, able to form your own opinions and effectively articulate them to win colleagues round to your way of thinking. You should also be comfortable writing and maintaining clear and concise documentation.

Target roles that require deep technical or financial expertise
Wise sponsors visas for positions where specialized skills are essential. Software engineering, data science, and compliance roles in fintech are strong fits. Focus your application on areas where your background directly supports Wise's core product and regulatory requirements.
Understand Wise's fintech-specific hiring needs
Wise operates at the intersection of financial services and technology. Roles involving payment infrastructure, currency exchange systems, or financial regulation tend to align with the kind of specialty occupation that supports H-1B sponsorship. Tailor your resume to reflect that overlap.
Demonstrate knowledge of cross-border payments and compliance
Wise's business is built on international money movement and regulatory compliance. Candidates who can speak fluently about KYC, AML, or multi-currency systems signal relevance to the exact problems Wise's teams are solving, which strengthens your case for sponsorship consideration.
Apply early in Wise's hiring cycle to allow time for H-1B preparation
H-1B sponsorship involves coordination between you, your employer, and immigration counsel well before the April filing window. Engaging with Wise's recruiting team early gives both sides time to assess sponsorship feasibility before the deadline becomes a constraint.
Be direct about your visa situation during the application process
Fintech companies like Wise typically have structured processes for evaluating sponsorship requests. Raising your status early, rather than after an offer, helps recruiters plan accordingly and avoids late-stage complications if a timeline adjustment is needed.
Browse verified sponsoring employers before applying broadly
Not every fintech company has an active H-1B sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and focus your energy on companies like Wise that have sponsored before, rather than guessing from job descriptions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Wise sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Wise sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles in the United States. Sponsorship at Wise tends to be concentrated in technical and specialized positions where a relevant degree is a genuine requirement of the job. If you're applying for a role in software engineering, data infrastructure, or financial compliance, those are the areas most likely to support an H-1B petition.
What types of roles at Wise are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Wise's sponsorship activity reflects its identity as a fintech company, roles in software engineering, backend infrastructure, data engineering, and financial compliance are the strongest candidates. Positions that require a specific degree tied directly to the job function are better positioned for H-1B approval than generalist or management roles where the degree requirement is less precise.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at Wise?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find roles at Wise and other verified H-1B sponsors. Unlike general job boards, Migrate Mate filters specifically for employers with real sponsorship history, so you're not wasting time applying to companies that list roles without any intention of sponsoring. Search for Wise by name to see current openings.
How do I approach the interview process at Wise as a visa-sponsorship candidate?
Be upfront about your work authorization status early in the process, Wise's recruiting team will need to assess whether your target role and timeline align with their sponsorship capacity. Come prepared to clearly articulate how your background fits a specialty occupation, since that framing matters both for the recruiter's decision and for the eventual H-1B petition itself.
What should I know about Wise's H-1B sponsorship timeline?
H-1B sponsorship requires filing in April for an October 1 start date, which means the process needs to begin months in advance. If you're targeting Wise, ideally secure an offer well before the registration window opens in March. Premium processing can accelerate USCIS adjudication after filing, but the registration deadline itself is fixed and cannot be expedited.
