THE JOB:
As a Senior Computer Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and reinforcing known company IT standards and processes.
THE STARTING RATE: $35.00
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Analyze hardware & software needs for planning of projects and make recommendations based on requirements.
- Generate new and innovative solutions to complex problems and propose improvements to processes by taking a broad perspective to problems, and identify new, less obvious solutions.
- Document project metrics for presentation to Senior Management and coordinate tasks for deployments.
- Act as project lead accordingly on assigned projects for necessary tasks.
- Manage project deployments appropriately to deliver upon committed project goals within assigned scope of responsibility.
- Work with end users both pre & post deployment to ensure verification of successful product delivery.
- Develop software automation scripts and documentation for deployments.
- Ability to train and lead property technicians or contingent workers for project implementation.
- Work on hardware/software issues on company and non-company supported devices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Associate's Degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ Years of Prior Relevant experience in Information Technology in a similar role
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Experience in an enterprise hospitality environment - Preferred
- Experience in project management or project delivery - Preferred
- Basic fluency in command line scripting or higher - Preferred
- A+ Certification or MCP or higher - Preferred
- Cross-platform experience, and the expertise to identify, and resolve integration issues - Preferred
- Knowledge of system level, and integration level testing - Preferred
- Results oriented, able to take responsibility, and accept accountability for actions - Preferred
- Ability to establish rapport with project management, vendors, and key business leaders to collaborate, and successfully confluence data - Preferred
- Strong quality assurance background - Preferred
- Capable of expressing complex technical concepts in terms that are understandable to non-technical team members - Preferred
