Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC systems, HMIs, VFD drives, and robotic automation systems.
- Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, instrumentation, and sensors across automated production lines.
- Support automation upgrades, commissioning, and integration of new equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for automation and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and FDA manufacturing regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reliability.
- Work cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve automation issues.
Qualifications Needed
Education / Certifications
Technical training, certification, or degree in Electrical Technology, Automation, Controls Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
Technical Requirements
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Experience with instrumentation, electrical schematics, and motion control systems.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting automation equipment and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation components such as HMIs, VFDs, and sensors.
Additional Preferred Experience
Exposure to Beckhoff controls, Fanuc robotics, or vision systems.
