We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and help drive innovative automation solutions.

Position Summary

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, development, testing, and support of electrical control systems for semiconductor automation equipment, robotics, EFEMs, and wafer handling platforms. This position requires strong expertise in electrical design, motion control, industrial automation, and troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Develop electrical architectures for automation and robotic systems.
• Select and integrate servo drives, motors, PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and safety devices.
• Support new product development and engineering change activities.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field service teams.
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues during assembly, testing, and customer installations.
• Create and maintain BOMs, engineering documentation, and ECNs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UL, CE, SEMI, and applicable industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or semiconductor equipment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar electrical CAD software.
• Experience with PLCs, motion control, servo systems, and industrial networks.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Semiconductor capital equipment experience.
• EFEM, FOUP, wafer handling, or robotics experience.
• Experience with Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, or Mitsubishi controls.
• Knowledge of SEMI standards and machine safety requirements.
