Entry Level Customer Experience Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level customer experience manager job?
Focus on demonstrating customer-facing experience, even from internships, retail, or campus roles. Employers hiring at this level look for candidates who can show empathy, clear communication, and comfort with customer feedback tools. A portfolio of projects, case studies, or metrics from prior work, even volunteer or coursework examples, gives you a concrete edge over candidates with only a blank resume.
Which companies hire entry level customer experience managers?
Companies hiring entry level customer experience managers right now include Five Below, Michaels, and Michaels Stores, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Hiring at this level tends to come from consumer-facing businesses, technology companies, and service-oriented organizations that need dedicated CX professionals who can grow into more senior ownership over time.
Are there remote entry level customer experience manager jobs?
Yes, though on-site roles still make up a significant share. About 7% of entry level customer experience manager openings are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, giving new grads flexibility without limiting their options to a single city. Hybrid roles are especially common at mid-size technology and e-commerce companies building out their CX teams.
Are these new grad customer experience manager jobs?
Yes. These listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior customer experience manager roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or campus projects toward requirements, or accepts a portfolio in place of full-time history. Look for language like 'entry level,' 'junior,' or '0 to 2 years' in the job description to confirm the role suits someone starting out.
Which industries hire the most entry level customer experience managers?
Entry Level customer experience manager roles concentrate in Retail, Consumer Goods, and Food & Beverage, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Those sectors drive hiring at this level because they depend on high customer interaction volume and benefit from dedicated CX professionals who can develop loyalty programs, handle escalations, and improve satisfaction metrics from early in their careers.
