Now Hiring: Low Voltage Electrician / Technician (Structured Cabling + Controls)
Sterling, VA, Maryland, Greater DC area | Full-Time
If you take pride in clean conduit, organized cable work, and doing the job the right way, JSET Automated Technologies is hiring Low Voltage Electricians / Technicians to support large-scale data center projects. This role is ideal for field professionals who want steady work, high standards, and a real path into controls and leadership.
What You'll Do
- Install conduit, raceways, and enclosures; route cabling through trays and pathways
- Pull, label, and terminate CAT5/6, fiber, and control/communication wiring
- Read and work from drawings and schematics to build to specification
- Perform basic testing and support commissioning and troubleshooting efforts
- Operate lifts and work overhead as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and code-compliant installations
- Follow all safety requirements and jobsite protocols
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in low-voltage, structured cabling, or commercial electrical work
- Experience with conduit installation, cable routing, and terminations
- Ability to read prints, schematics, and installation details
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable working at heights and in active construction environments
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs as required by the job
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have OSHA 10 or willingness to complete on own time

- Exposure to controls, BMS, or EPMS systems
