JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Product Owner at Andersen Corporation, you will lead the delivery of the Cornerstone initiative - retiring our legacy CustomerCare application and transforming how customer data is structured, governed, and used across the division. You will own the product backlog, drive alignment across cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality, trusted customer data capabilities.
This role will evolve into long-term ownership of the Digital Technology Customer product, where you will serve as a steward of customer data and a proactive driver of business value. You will operate at the intersection of business, data, and technology - helping teams understand, trust, and better leverage customer data across Sales, CX, Marketing, and other domains – to improve the experience for our homeowner, trade, and dealer audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Delivery
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for customer data initiatives, ensuring alignment to business value and program objectives.
- Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with a strong focus on data and integrations.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible, well-defined, and delivered as intended.
Customer Data Stewardship
- Act as a gatekeeper of customer data in Salesforce across Homeowner, Trade, and Dealer domains, ensuring data is properly and consistently organized.
- Define and enforce data standards, definitions, and business rules in partnership with Data Governance teams.
- Ensure customer data is structured for reliable reporting, analytics, and downstream consumption.
Data Quality & Modernization
- Drive improvements in data quality, including de-duplication, validation, and standardization of customer records.
- Lead the product perspective on retiring CustomerCare and consolidating customer data into Salesforce.
- Ensure new processes prevent poor data quality and support long-term sustainability.
Integration & Cross-Team Alignment
- Define requirements for system integrations and data flows across enterprise platforms.
- Coordinate dependencies across product, data, and IT teams to ensure aligned delivery.
- Ensure customer data is consistently and accurately consumed across systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Facilitate decision-making by clearly articulating priorities, trade-offs, and impacts.
- Provide clear, concise updates on progress, risks, and delivered outcomes.
Insight & Continuous Improvement
- Develop a deep understanding of customer data and how it is used across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve how data is captured, structured, and leveraged.
- Proactively recommend new capabilities and use cases that drive business value.
Qualifications
Must Have
- 5+ years experience in Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar roles
- 3+ years working in Agile delivery environments
- Experience with data-centric initiatives (data quality, migration, integration)
- Strong ability to define and manage and prioritize product backlogs, user stories, and requirements
- Experience working with Salesforce (data model and usage)
- Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
Nice to Have
