We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to support complex electrical engineering design efforts and support large-scale transportation and infrastructure programs.

Position Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) will support electrical engineering design, quality control, and project execution for multi-million-dollar transportation and infrastructure projects. This role includes full project lifecycle involvement - from concept design through construction support - and offers strong growth and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform traction power electrical system design
- Prepare electrical scopes of work, cost proposals
- Develop drawings, schematics, layouts, specifications
- Perform system calculations, modeling, analysis
- Select electrical equipment, coordinate with manufacturers
- Prepare construction cost estimates, schedules
- Support construction including review of submittals, RFIs
- Attend site visits during design, construction phase
- Participate in factory/site acceptance testing (FAT / SAT)
- Coordinate with utility companies, regulatory agencies
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Present technical solutions to clients, leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License – Required
- 10+ years of electrical design experience
- Strong experience in:
- Power distribution systems
- Substations, switchgear
- Traction power systems
- Grounding, lighting, low-voltage systems
- Expert knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE, UL codes
- Software experience:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Open Building Designer
- Open Road Designer
