This position reports to:
USLATAM Region Managing Director
Your role and responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated individual to organize and direct our Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) field sales districts and areas in the Gulf Region of the United States (TX, NM, OK, CO, LA, MS). This role involves planning and executing sales activities to achieve maximum profitable volume while maintaining acceptable selling costs. ELIP specializes in manufacturing electrical construction materials for commercial construction, including products designed for service applications and environments exposed to moisture and corrosion.
While this is a remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Gulf Territory.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Lead and develop a high‑performing sales organization by directing multi‑level leaders, managing talent, and fostering a culture of solution‑oriented, customer‑centric selling.
- Drive strategic sales growth through annual field sales planning, market and portfolio analysis, and effective price and market‑share management.
- Optimize sales structure and performance by evaluating territories, staffing, and activities to maximize profitable volume while controlling selling costs.
- Strengthen market position and product success by overseeing key customers and partners, guiding solution‑selling strategies, and channeling field insights into product development and forecasting.
Qualifications for the role:
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Business, Marketing, or STEM.
- Industrial Product Sales Experience: Minimum of 10 years selling into electrical or heavy industrial markets with a focus on distribution is a must.
- Sales Team Management: At least 5 years of experience. Additional experience in area sales management, sales engineering, and/or channel management strongly preferred.
- Cross-Functional Experience: Experience in roles such as product management/marketing, custom manufacturing solutions center (CMSC), supply chain, operations, engineering, or program management.
- P&L Responsibility: Experience managing and delivering results according to a sales plan.
- Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic and profit planning.
- Start-Up or Turnaround Experience: Experience with managing in start-up or turnaround situations.

Manufacturing includes made-to-stock and custom-made solutions.

ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy.
While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $163,500 and $261,600 annually and is bonus eligible.
