You got the job!!

We're also committing to sponsoring your H-1B Visa, which grants you full rights to...

Step 2:

Do not email the company contact before doing these steps (since they'll just ask you to do the below).

Instead, find the company's "Careers" page to check for open roles.

The easiest way is to copy the end of the company email address i.e. if the email is jaclyn@uber.com, then copy uber.com, and put that into your web browser's url bar.

If it's not a company email address then you can use Google. The "Careers" page is almost always in the website footer unless it's a smaller company.

If the company you're considering doesn't have a "Careers" page, it's well worth checking LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, ZipRecruiter, Glassdoor and other job boards to see if they have active listings there.

Step 3:

If your target role(s) are available, simply apply there with the confidence that they will sponsor your visa! (as long as your skills and qualifications make you a good fit for the role of course)

Step 4:

If no similar role is available, email the company contact something like the template below.

Step 5:

Rinse & repeat. And remember - getting results takes a lot of patience! But the more you send, the higher your chances of landing a job in the U.S.
