Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity where you can improve the lives of children?
We are currently seeking a full-time, evening shift clinician for the Intake Department. General roles and responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Monday – Friday schedule, 4pm - midnight
- Able to assist Hospital Therapy team by providing occasional individual, group and family therapies - as well as case management services
- Recommends and implements general therapeutic interventions both for individual clients and for overall program development
- Functions as the therapist for patients and families with the psychiatrist as clinical team leader
- Additional cross training/work functions in the area of Utilization Management, including completion of certifications with insurance for hospital stays
- Conducting clinical interviews and recommending to patients and family levels of care consistent with presenting treatment needs
- Plan arrangements for aftercare, including safety planning
- Licensure required (PLPC/LPC/LMSW/LCSW for the State of MO)
- Assists the Intake Manager in the planning coordination and evaluation of all the daily activities of the Intake Department which can additionally include triage of emergency and non-emergency calls verifying and conducting intake assessments.
