A well-established industrial manufacturing firm located in Itasca, IL is currently scaling its operations and seeking skilled Industrial Electricians to join their team. With over a century of industry presence, the organization is undergoing a period of rapid expansion driven by high demand and significant new project acquisitions.
The firm focuses on the design and production of bespoke industrial systems, specifically targeting large-scale infrastructure and data center initiatives. To accommodate this growth, they are hiring six electricians at various skill levels to bolster their production capabilities. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in hands-on environments involving machine wiring, automation, and the assembly of custom equipment.
Core Responsibilities
- Execute the installation, wiring, and diagnostic testing of electrical systems for specialized industrial machinery and enclosures.
- Complete wiring tasks for machines, control panels, and PLC-integrated systems.
- Perform conduit installation and bending for industrial-grade applications.
- Analyze and utilize electrical schematics, technical blueprints, and wiring diagrams to guide assembly.
- Diagnose electrical issues in motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control components to ensure optimal performance.
- Engage with automated machinery and complex industrial electrical infrastructures.
- Contribute to meeting project deadlines while helping maintain a safe and high-quality working environment for the entire team.
- Partner with enclosure builders and cross-functional manufacturing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial setting (junior candidates will be evaluated).
- Proven background in machine wiring, enclosure assembly, or panel building.
- Proficiency in reading and applying electrical schematics to daily tasks.
- Strong diagnostic capabilities to help resolve issues within industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with PLC wiring and automation hardware is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with 480V 3-phase systems is preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight to support team productivity.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation:
$25–$32/hr based on individual experience. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position.
