ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Jr. Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring 100% uptime of our data center operations, supporting mission-critical infrastructure for both the company and our customers. This position reports on-site and works closely with senior engineering staff and site operations teams to maintain, support, and optimize all technical aspects of facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and review maintenance methods, standards, and operating procedures for all facility equipment.
- Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan and execute customer solutions, including space, power, and cooling requirements.
- Support the daily operations of critical infrastructure systems including power, HVAC, and life safety equipment ensuring optimal performance and rapid incident response.
- Assist in generating and maintaining up-to-date facility and compliance reports.
- Provide technical support during customer installations and integrations, ensuring successful project completion.
- Address operational issues promptly to uphold our commitment to 100% uptime.
- Liaise effectively with operations management, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and track solutions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1-3 years of experience in facility operations within data centers, telecommunications, or similar mission-critical environments.
- Familiarity with maintenance management and ticketing software platforms.
- Capable of working in high-pressure, high-availability (24/7/365) environments, including vendor coordination and emergency response.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Foundational knowledge of mission-critical facility systems, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), generators, mechanical, and fire safety systems.
- Understanding of building automation systems, energy management, and control systems for mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Strong multi-tasking and time management skills; ability to meet shifting deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

COMPENSATION
Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience), plus full benefits package.
