Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Occupational Health
Duration: 3 months Contract on W2
Location: Onsite - 3201 East Highway 400, Dodge City KS 67801
Shift Type: 3 PM to 1 AM estimate; Mon - Fri with occasional Saturdays
Pay Range: $38 to $40 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Licensed Practical Nurse will perform routine occupational health care activities, including health and wellness training and education, employee health services and compliance.
- Help develop, formulate, and implement plans of care based on standing orders and medical directives.
- Under general supervision of a registered nurse, treat, evaluate, and assess employee illness or injury to ascertain medical direction.
- Plan and implement compliance improvement projects and their deliverables.
- In accordance with established procedures, conduct our safety and ergonomic training and administer the basics of drug and alcohol programs.
- Assist with occupational health programs.
- Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent
- Two years of related work experience.
- Licensed practical nurse or vocational nurse or equivalent in other geographies.
