THE OPPORTUNITY
Abbott is seeking a Brand Insights Manager to elevate how we build and measure a world-class global brand. In this role, you’ll leverage deep consumer, cultural, and market insights to shape brand strategy and connect brand performance to meaningful business outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
- Lead global brand tracking programs, including awareness, consideration, trust, and reputation metrics
- Define and evolve brand health KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to long-term strategy
- Analyze brand performance trends and identify key drivers of brand equity growth or decline
- Design and execute strategic research (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover audience insights and whitespace opportunities
- Translate insights into clear strategic recommendations and a roadmap to strengthen brand performance
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications, and Analytics to align insights with execution
- Connect brand metrics to business outcomes and inform strategic decision-making
- Embed insights into campaigns, messaging, and customer experiences
- Deliver compelling, executive-ready storytelling that influences leadership decisions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in brand insights, market research, or brand strategy
- Proven experience leading brand tracking programs and strategic research initiatives
- Deep expertise in brand equity measurement and brand health frameworks
- Strong grounding in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Experience partnering with analytics teams to develop measurement approaches
- Demonstrated ability to connect insights to business outcomes and strategy
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across marketing, communications, and digital teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience defining or evolving global brand strategies in complex organizations
- Background in healthcare, consumer health, or adjacent industries
- Familiarity with advanced segmentation, U&A studies, and message testing
- Experience working with brand performance dashboards and analytics outputs
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
- Strong curiosity about external brand trends, benchmarks, and best practices
COMPENSATION
- The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
