- Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Address and resolve any issues or delays related to referrals, escalating concerns as necessary
- Educate patients about referral procedures, appointment scheduling, and necessary documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare-related certifications are a plus
- Proven experience in patient coordination, referral management, or healthcare administration
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, referral processes, and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
