Responsibilities:
The role of the Facility Plumber is the responsibility for the installation and maintenance of major Hospital and Medical Center Plumbing Piping and related equipment. Works throughout the Medical Center and outlying Properties, which may include limited access areas including medication rooms. Responds to routine, emergency work orders and performs ongoing preventive maintenance programs for assigned equipment. Participates in new project installations. Completes all required documentation according to department program within scheduled time frames. Other duties from time to time may require light duty maintenance, light moving and new product installation. Expected to respond to emergency call in (Equipment failure, floods, and snow removal etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
Required: One year as a plumber
Desired: One year in a healthcare setting
