Job Description
DUTIES: New program implementation and execution with SOR prep, forecasting, controls design, equipment build/run-off and buyoff. Design, construction, integration, plant installation, successful launch and continuous improvement of equipment and tools required in plants for the production of high-quality parts. Manage deliveries to program timing milestones working with multiple suppliers. Provide project report outs to senior management. Existing program and site support including troubleshooting. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all customers and plants. Provide technical direction to less experienced controls engineers and suppliers. Design and troubleshooting of electrical controls systems. Work may involve development and testing of advanced process technology. Up to 40% domestic and international travel required.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field of study and Five (5) years of experience as a Process Engineer, Controls Engineer, Software Engineer, or related role. Five years of experience with: Electrical and control systems and the ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment; Mechanical concepts involving machine designs and process requirements involved in the manufacturing process; PLC and HMI programming, Ethernet and Devicenet networks; Servo motors, motion control, and drives; and Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
