Leading contractor in MT is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Plumbing project experience to join their growing team!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Project Manager to join our team and take the reins of our plumbing projects in the construction industry. This is a permanent role that requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in managing large-scale plumbing projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our plumbing projects, from planning to execution, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will also play a crucial role in coordinating with other construction teams, stakeholders, and clients. COMPENSATION
- Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of project life cycle including, but not limited to, design, coordination, scope management, budget and cost control, time management, risk management, contract negotiations, and procurement.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of all plumbing staff and subcontractors, ensuring that all tasks are performed in accordance with project requirements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other construction specialists, providing input on plumbing design and installation.
- Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to stakeholders and clients.
- Handle any issues or delays that arise, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure that work is progressing as planned and meeting all quality standards.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Plumbing Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, including heating, cooling, and boiler systems.
- Proficiency in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) construction and project management.
- Previous experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction management and quality control principles.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and control resources to meet project goals.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Proficiency in using project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in project management and/or plumbing would be an added advantage.
