We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our team for a primarily remote opportunity with very limited travel (approximately 5% or less). The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and supporting SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and support SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP Objects (OO ABAP)
- Develop and enhance RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows
- Work with BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, IDocs, RFCs, ALV, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms
- Perform complex debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Develop technical specifications and maintain clear technical documentation
- Support testing, defect resolution, production deployments, and post-production issues
- Collaborate closely with SAP functional consultants across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and EWM
- Participate in code reviews and ensure SAP development standards and best practices are followed
- Provide technical support during project implementations, enhancements, and go-live activities
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience
- Strong experience with ABAP Objects and RICEFW development
- Hands-on knowledge of BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, IDocs, RFCs, reports, interfaces, and forms
- Strong debugging and SAP performance optimization skills
- Experience working with SAP functional and business teams
- Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle, testing, and production support
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
