ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and design primary and secondary aircraft structures.
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CATIA V5 and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
- Design and integrate nacelle structural components and assemblies.
- Support the development of metallic and composite structural parts.
- Evaluate designs for performance, structural integrity, manufacturability, and cost effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stress, manufacturing, tooling, and systems engineering teams.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and release packages.
- Support weight reduction initiatives, payload integration, and lofting activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of experience as STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER; OR
- Master's degree with 3–6 years of experience as STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER; OR
- PhD with 0–3 years of experience as STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER; OR
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Level 2–3 proficiency in CATIA V5.
- Experience using 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX).
- Aerospace structural design experience.
- Experience with nacelle design and integration.
- Knowledge of metallic and composite structures.
- Experience with primary and/or secondary aircraft structures.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles and manufacturing processes.
