CitizenWorks wasn’t built to support the 2% of people who already get AI. It was built for the rest of us. The other 98% of people who are curious about it, who see its potential, and feel like they’re already behind.
We believe AI is a superpower and we exist to help companies learn to build with it, lead with it, and use it through practical skills, workflows and confidence.
Our solutions meet companies where they are by building the bridge between where AI is going and where the workforce is today. With a focus on taking the repetitive, soul-draining work off people’s plates, we help employees get back to the work they actually love.
Human led adoption. Capability over dependency. Process before technology.
If those three lines resonate, you already think like we do and you should keep reading.
Who We Are
Our founder, Jamie Christensen, started CitizenWorks on the belief that you don’t have to know how to code to build tools that work for you. We help non-technical teams across healthcare, legal, and trades stop drowning in repetitive work, by providing training and by building systems for them.
The thing we’re proudest of has nothing to do with revenue. It’s our community workshop series that takes the scariness out of AI for people who’ve never touched it. We strongly believe that AI is a superpower, not a replacement for humans.
We're innovative, fast, and genuinely easy to work with.
What This Role Actually Is
This role exists because Jamie is currently the bottleneck. She's personally hands-on with half the active client roster, and the company can't grow past her calendar. We'd like to fix that.
This role has two jobs hiding inside one title, and they happen in this order. First, you sit with a client's team and get to know them as people, building real trust before you ever touch a tool.
Second, once you understand how they actually work and where they're stuck, you design and build the solution yourself using modern AI tools, with engineering support quality-checking your work so implementation goes smoothly.
You do not need to be a software engineer to succeed here. You do need to be the kind of person who's picked up technical skills while doing a real job (project management, marketing, ops, design, customer success, etc.) and who gets genuinely excited about tools like Claude Code or n8n that let you build real solutions without writing software from scratch.
But the order matters: relationships come first, tech comes second. The technical side is teachable. The people side is not.
What You’ll Own
- Full client engagements from first conversation to delivered solution, it's yours start to finish
- Discovery sessions with potential clients that surface how a team actually works, not just what they say they do
- Designing AI solutions and automations that fit how people already operate, not the other way around
- Hands-on building with modern AI tools like Claude Code and n8n, with engineering support to QA your work before delivery
- Driving adoption after launch, because a tool nobody uses is the same as no tool at all
- Translating technical concepts into plain language clients can actually act on
- Tracking and reporting ROI: time saved, costs cut, headaches avoided
- Co-leading beginner AI workshops for clients and public audiences
- Helping build the playbooks and SOPs for this role so we continue to grow
Where This Role Can Take You
This role doesn't just exist to keep you busy with behind-the-scenes support tasks.
It exists because our founder can't work on the business and in the business at the same time. We need someone who is comfortable stepping in to lead client engagements end to end with real ownership that empowers CitizenWorks to take on more clients and get automation into more people's hands.
This is your shot to become a trusted adviser at a subject-matter expert level and shape how we continue to expand the company.
You’re the Right Fit for This Role If…
- You’ve worked inside a real business (PM, marketing, ops, customer success, design) and picked up technical skills along the way; you’re not a lifelong consultant whose only ever advised, and you’re not a software engineer who’s never had to sit across from a client and lead a conversation
- You’re genuinely good with people: You read a room fast, build trust quickly, and you can explain a complex idea to non-technical folks in plain language without making anyone feel small for not already knowing it
- You’ve used AI building tools, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n, or similar, to actually build something useful, not just talk about building something
- You bring the research and reasoning when you push back on an idea. “I just think we should…” doesn’t fly here. “Here’s what I found and here’s why…” does
- You’re comfortable owning a project end to end without a detailed playbook for every situation, and you improve the playbook as you go
- You show up prepared, professional, and present (yes, camera on for meetings)
- You don't just hand over information. You hand over a plan and then execute.
- You propose ideas to the team and run with them. You don't need the founder in the room to collaborate with clients and coworkers.
- You’re excited and stay curious about tools that change every few months and how to use them more effectively
This Might *Not* Be the Job For You If…
- You’d rather wait to be told exactly what to do
- You need a slow, methodical pace to feel comfortable.
- You’re more comfortable advising what could be done than actually building solutions
- You think explaining things simply means “dumbing” them down
- You need a fully built process before you can get moving
- You’re an engineer at heart who’d rather not deal with or communicate with clients
- You do not feel comfortable creating workshop materials or delivering them
What Working With the Founder Looks Like
Jamie tells you straight when something's working and when it's not.
She encourages respectful pushback on how things are done but you better bring the research or experience to back it up. "I just think we should..." doesn't land. But "here's what I found and here's why" does.
She's not looking for someone to micromanage. She's looking for someone she can assign a client project to and know it will be handled the way she would.
The more you own without being asked, the faster this company grows and we all win!

Technical Solutions Architect Jobs in Nevada: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical solutions architect in Nevada?
Most technical solutions architects in Nevada enter the field through a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or systems engineering, followed by several years in a technical role such as systems engineer, network engineer, or cloud consultant. Nevada does not require a state-issued license for this role. Employers in Las Vegas and Reno place strong weight on vendor certifications from AWS, Microsoft, or Cisco, which serve as the primary credentialing pathway for advancing into architecture-level positions.
How much do technical solutions architects make in Nevada?
Technical solutions architects in Nevada earn a median of about $138,060 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $83,830 for the lowest 10% to over $164,880 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical solutions architects in Nevada?
Employers hiring technical solutions architects in Nevada right now include Freeman, CVS Health, and Bank of America, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Nevada's concentration of large data centers, hospitality technology operations, and regional enterprise IT hubs drives consistent demand from both technology vendors and end-user organizations headquartered in the Las Vegas metro.
Which Nevada cities have the most technical solutions architect jobs?
Las Vegas, Reno, and Nevada account for the largest share of technical solutions architect openings in Nevada. Las Vegas dominates because of its dense concentration of hospitality conglomerates, data centers, and regional headquarters for technology vendors, while Reno has grown rapidly as a secondary hub driven by major logistics and cloud infrastructure investments along the I-80 corridor.
Are there remote technical solutions architect jobs in Nevada?
Yes, and more than most fields, because solutions architecture is fundamentally a design and consultative function that requires no fixed physical presence. About 47% of technical solutions architect openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed work. The pre-sales and cloud design portions of the role are most commonly performed remotely, while on-site work is typically limited to client discovery sessions and solution demos.
How can I get hired as a technical solutions architect in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a hands-on technical role such as systems administrator, network engineer, or cloud support specialist into a junior or associate solutions engineer position. Large Nevada employers in the data center and enterprise technology space regularly post associate-level solutions engineer openings that do not require prior architecture experience. Earning an AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification before applying gives candidates in the Las Vegas or Reno market a concrete edge, as Nevada hiring managers cite these credentials as the clearest signal of architecture readiness for candidates without a formal portfolio.
Where can I find and apply to technical solutions architect jobs in Nevada?
You can find and apply to technical solutions architect jobs in Nevada on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from Nevada employers. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, specialization, and preferred location within the state, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
