Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Revenue Cycle Management
Match your credentials to TN categories
Revenue cycle roles don't have a dedicated TN category. Map your duties to Accountant or Management Consultant before applying. Roles heavy on billing compliance and financial reporting typically align with Accountant; process optimization and denial management roles align with Management Consultant.
Request a detailed offer letter
Ask your employer to describe your duties using language that maps to your TN category. CBP officers review this letter at entry. Vague titles like 'RCM Specialist' without duty specifics create unnecessary scrutiny at the border or consulate.
Target health systems with dedicated immigration support
Large hospital networks and multi-site physician groups routinely sponsor TN visas and have HR teams familiar with the process. Smaller independent practices often lack that infrastructure, which slows or stalls your filing even when they want to hire you.
Search TN-specific job listings on Migrate Mate
Most job boards don't filter by visa type, so you waste time on roles that won't sponsor. Migrate Mate surfaces Revenue Cycle Management positions from employers already open to TN sponsorship, so your search starts with relevant leads.
Prepare your degree equivalency documentation early
If your accounting or health administration degree is from a Canadian or Mexican institution, get a credential evaluation before interviewing. CBP officers at the border don't defer decisions, so arriving without this document can result in an immediate denial.
Understand the TN renewal cycle for your employer
TN status is granted in three-year increments and requires employer re-sponsorship at each renewal. Confirm that your employer's HR or legal team is prepared to re-file before your status expires, since there's no automatic grace period for lapses.

Find Revenue Cycle Management JobsRevenue Cycle Management TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Revenue Cycle Management role qualify for TN visa status?
It depends on your specific duties and how they map to an eligible TN category. Most RCM roles qualify under Accountant (for billing compliance, financial reconciliation, and coding oversight) or Management Consultant (for process improvement and denial management). The category you use must match your actual job duties and degree field, not just your job title.
How does TN compare to H-1B for Revenue Cycle Management positions?
TN is generally faster and more predictable for RCM professionals. There's no lottery for Canadians, no annual cap, and Canadians can get status approved at the border in a single day. H-1B requires a lottery, has a lengthy petition process, and is capped at 85,000 annually. The trade-off is that TN requires an employer to re-sponsor you each time you renew.
Where can I find Revenue Cycle Management jobs that offer TN sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the recommended starting point. It surfaces RCM roles from employers already open to TN sponsorship, which saves time you'd otherwise spend screening out positions that don't apply to your visa situation. Most general job boards don't filter by TN eligibility, making your search less efficient.
Can a Mexican citizen get TN sponsorship for an RCM role, and how does it differ from the Canadian process?
Yes, Mexican citizens can get TN status for qualifying RCM roles, but the process differs significantly. You must apply through a U.S. consulate in Mexico rather than at a port of entry, and the process involves scheduling a consular interview. Processing timelines are longer than the border crossing option available to Canadian citizens.
What documents does my employer need to provide for my TN application?
Your employer needs to provide a detailed support letter that states your job title, a description of your duties tied to the TN category, your anticipated length of employment, your educational requirements, and confirmation that you'll be paid at least the prevailing wage. This letter is your primary document at the border or consulate, so vague or generic language creates real risk of denial.
