Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding TN Visa Sponsorship as a Workday Analyst
Frame your Workday credentials for TN eligibility
Your Workday Pro certifications and HCM or Financials configuration experience are strong, but TN approval turns on your degree field matching Systems Analyst duties. A computer science, information systems, or business information technology degree maps cleanly; a general business degree needs a tighter narrative linking coursework to Workday implementation work.
Target employers with active Workday deployments
Employers mid-implementation or post-go-live need Analysts urgently and are already budgeting for the role. Look for companies with recent visa filings in sponsorship-experienced sectors—they've demonstrated willingness to support work visa candidates. For Canadians, this means an employer support letter at port of entry; for Mexicans, consulate application. Workday Analyst roles typically meet TN eligibility requirements, making employers with prior visa sponsorship experience good prospects for TN consideration.
Ask employers about TN classification during screening
Many HR teams know H-1B but haven't filed a TN before. Raise the Systems Analyst classification early: explain it requires no lottery, no government petition, and costs less than H-1B sponsorship. That framing converts hesitant employers far better than leading with your visa status alone.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified TN-sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate filters Workday Analyst postings by employers with documented TN sponsorship activity, saving you from applying to roles where the hiring team will stall on visa questions. Search by role and location to surface opportunities already matched to your authorization category.
Prepare your support letter before you have an offer
Canadian professionals entering at the border need an employer support letter that maps Workday Analyst duties to the Systems Analyst TN category. Draft a template with your prospective employer before your start date so CBP review doesn't delay your entry on day one.
Confirm USMCA nationality documentation is current
Mexican nationals applying at a consulate must present a valid passport confirming Mexican citizenship, since TN status derives from USMCA nationality, not residency. Expired or limited-validity passports have caused appointment rejections; verify your document validity covers your intended employment period before scheduling.

Find Workday Analyst JobsWorkday Analyst TN Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Workday Analyst role qualify for TN visa status?
Yes, Workday Analyst positions qualify under the USMCA's Systems Analyst category when the role centers on configuring, implementing, or analyzing Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll modules. The job offer must describe analytical and systems-oriented duties. Roles that are purely administrative or project-management focused without a systems analysis component can face scrutiny at the border or consulate.
How does TN visa sponsorship compare to H-1B for Workday Analysts?
TN is faster and more predictable for Workday Analysts than H-1B. There's no annual lottery, no USCIS petition filing for Canadians, and no multi-month wait. Canadian professionals can enter at a port of entry the same day the employer issues a support letter. Mexican nationals go through consular processing, which takes longer but still avoids the H-1B lottery entirely.
What documents does a Canadian Workday Analyst need at the border for TN admission?
You'll need a valid Canadian passport, an employer support letter detailing your Workday Analyst duties and mapping them to the Systems Analyst USMCA category, proof of your qualifying degree, and any Workday certifications that reinforce the specialty occupation claim. CBP officers make the final determination, so the support letter must be specific about configuration and analytical responsibilities, not just job title.
Where can I find Workday Analyst jobs that already offer TN visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Workday Analyst roles filtered by employers with recent visa filings, so you're not guessing which companies have experience with work visa sponsorship. Most general job boards don't surface visa sponsorship experience, which means you can spend weeks in application processes only to learn the employer may not be familiar with visa-sponsored roles. Starting with a platform that identifies employers experienced with visa sponsorship cuts that cycle.
Can a Mexican Workday Analyst change employers after getting TN status?
Yes, but TN status is employer-specific under USMCA. When you change employers, the new company must initiate a fresh TN application through the consulate. There's no portability provision like some other visa categories. You can work for the new employer once the new TN is approved, so timing your resignation and consular appointment matters. USCIS processes change-of-employer TN filings for those already inside the U.S. on valid status.
