Position Purpose:
Plans and directs all aspects of Louisiana Healthcare Connections operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
- Develop policies and procedures for operational processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations.
- Represents the organization in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, commercial and investment bankers, government agencies, professional societies, and similar groups.
- Develops a sound short-and long-range plan for the organization.
- Ensures the adequacy and soundness of the organization’s financial structure and reviews projections of working capital requirements.
- Negotiates and otherwise arranges for any outside financing that may be indicated.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a top management position in the government or healthcare industry required.
- Extensive experience in contracting, contract acquisition, operations management, and strategic planning and development.
- Previous experience managing staff, including hiring, training, managing workload and performance.
