Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About The Role
Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product, Pricing, Sales and Partnerships to name a few teams. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch. We are looking for an experienced team member to shape our portfolio wide pricing and monetization strategy, deeply understand competitor pricing, develop pricing playbooks, and work with our Growth Product team to run pricing experiments to grow adoption. In this role, you will partner closely with our Product and Product Pricing teams, to develop a portfolio monetization strategy, understand & craft a narrative around the value our products deliver to users & engage cross-functional teams across sales, campaigns and product to drive adoption, and revenue across Stripe’s existing customer base and prospects.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll do
- Be deeply analytical. You like working with data and insights and pair that with your passion for users to generate balanced and thoughtful insights.
- Be a storyteller. You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience and differentiate Stripe. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Keep things organized. You are able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects and keep various workstreams on track.
- Be ambitious. You are eager to make an impact at Stripe. You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, hyper-growth environment and are able to operate fluidly between the 30,000-foot strategy level and the micro-detail to get things right.
- Act as a team player. Product Marketers collaborate across the Marketing team and with basically every team at Stripe. You are able to work with a range of disciplines to execute on your work.
Responsibilities
- Partner closely with product, pricing, and sales teams to build pricing and monetization strategies, with the goal of driving revenue, improving customer experience and product attach.

- Experience with understanding competitor landscape, conducting detailed benchmarking and understanding competitive strategies.
- Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research on product needs and value perception.
- Analytical mindset, with experience leveraging data to identify monetization opportunities and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Hybrid work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
Working remotely at Stripe
A remote location is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently live or plan to live.
Pay and benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $132,600 - $198,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
