Which distribution and wholesale companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in Georgia?
Georgia-based employers with significant distribution and wholesale operations, including companies anchored around the Port of Savannah, Atlanta's regional distribution centers, and national wholesale networks operating in the state, have filed Labor Condition Applications for H-1B1 visa Singapore workers. Employers in logistics technology, building materials wholesale, and consumer goods distribution have historically appeared in DOL LCA disclosure data for this visa category.
Which cities in Georgia have the most distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta leads Georgia for distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity, given its concentration of corporate headquarters and regional distribution operations. Savannah is a strong secondary market due to the Port of Savannah, one of the busiest container ports in the country. Augusta and Columbus also have established wholesale and distribution employers, particularly in industrial and consumer goods sectors.
What types of distribution and wholesale roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship requires a specialty occupation, meaning the role must normally require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In distribution and wholesale, qualifying roles typically include supply chain analysts, logistics engineers, procurement specialists, operations research analysts, and inventory management professionals. General warehouse or driver roles do not meet the specialty occupation standard. O*NET occupation profiles can help confirm whether a specific job title meets the degree requirement.
How do I find distribution and wholesale H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, you can filter by visa type, including H-1B1 Singapore, by industry such as distribution and wholesale, and by state to surface Georgia employers with verified LCA filing history. This approach is more targeted than general job searches because it surfaces employers who have already demonstrated willingness to sponsor H-1B1 Singapore workers in relevant roles, rather than requiring you to vet each employer from scratch.
Are there any Georgia-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in distribution and wholesale?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal obligations, but employers must still file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before sponsoring an H-1B1 Singapore worker. In distribution and wholesale, employers must confirm the offered wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage for the occupation and location, which can be verified through the OFLC Wage Search. Georgia's E-Verify participation requirements for certain employers are also worth confirming directly with the hiring company.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore distribution & wholesale jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
