Position Overview

As a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and keep records on outgoing shipments.

This is a 2nd shift position starting at 12:30pm on Sunday and 1:30pm Monday to Thursday. The starting rate is $22.00 per hour.

• Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products
• Record shipping data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damage and non-conformance to specifications
• Other duties as assigned

Environment

• Warehouse: Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)
• Office: Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge: Pallet Jack experience preferred
• Special Skills: Prefer candidates with experience in grocery selection. Ability to work the overnight shift and overtime is required

• 0-2: At least six months of warehouse experience. Pallet Jack experience preferred
