About the Role:
As a Lead Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance, you will help drive UKG’s most important strategic and financial decisions. You will develop insights, models, and recommendations that shape long-range planning, value creation, investment prioritization, and executive decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, and excited to work on complex, high-impact questions across the business.
- You will translate UKG’s long-term strategy into robust financial plans, including business cases, investment requirements, operational milestones, and expected returns.
- You will assess performance against value creation objectives, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
- You will support mergers and acquisitions by evaluating valuation assumptions, synergy opportunities, and execution feasibility in partnership with corporate development and operating leaders.
- You will help guide capital allocation by comparing investment opportunities across the company and identifying where resources can generate the highest return.
- You will analyze pricing, customer economics, and cost structure drivers to uncover opportunities to accelerate growth and expand profitability.
- You will monitor competitor results, market signals, and public company disclosures to identify shifts in strategy, spending, and performance that should inform UKG’s decisions.
- You will prepare clear, executive-ready analyses and recommendations for senior finance leaders, including support for ad hoc strategic questions.
About You:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or a related analytical role.
- Experience building complex financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience communicating analytical findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through presentations, written materials, and discussions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting long-range planning, portfolio decision-making, or enterprise investment strategy.
- Experience evaluating mergers and acquisitions, including synergy analysis, diligence support, and scenario modeling.
- Experience identifying performance improvement opportunities through pricing, customer economics, or cost structure analysis.
- Experience working in a public company, software company, or other fast-paced, data-rich environment.
- Master of Business Administration, Chartered Financial Analyst designation, or other advanced finance-related training.

The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $130,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location.
