Job Description
SUMMARY
This person will perform electrical and mechanical repairs on production and facility related equipment at the Springfield, MN facility. When needed this person will be tasked to design and implement new or upgraded equipment controls. This person will report to the Maintenance Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment and facilities.
- Promote safe work practices by following company safety policies.
- Assist in building controls for new equipment, as well as adding or upgrading controls on existing equipment.
- Maintain a clean work area and promote company 5S policies.
- Identify root causes of maintenance downtime and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
- Order repair parts for maintenance repairs to equipment and facilities.
- Identify critical parts and make recommendations on additional spare parts inventory.
