INTRODUCTION

Port City Air (PCA) is located on the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH. In addition to the variety of service PCA provides the airport, we also staff the Portsmouth International Airport terminal. We are looking to hire part-time positions where you will greet and attend to the needs of passengers flying in/out of Portsmouth International Airport.

POSITION SCOPE

The Customer Service Agent provides professional and courteous service to passengers arriving or departing their flights. This role is staffed 7 days a week including nights, weekends and occasionally on holidays. We are primarily looking to fill nights and weekends. A typical shift will be approximately 3-4 hours, 15-20 hours per week, and can be extended due to flight schedules.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
• Checking in passengers and baggage for flights.
• Assisting those with disabilities board flight.
• Being a source of information to passengers.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• High school diploma or GED.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Computer and phone app proficiency.
• Patience and excellent listening skills are a must.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as we are a 24/7/365 operation.
• Good attention to detail.
• Aviation experience a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass the FAA and Homeland Security background checks as well as complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist passengers boarding with wheelchairs.
