What You’ll Do
- Complete insurance benefit verifications to confirm active patient coverage
- Secure approvals from commercial and government payers to establish medical necessity and facilitate timely patient treatment
- Apply advanced problem-solving and critical thinking to overturn complex denials and ensure successful reimbursement outcomes
- Submit, monitor, and track claim appeals to resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
- Investigate and resolve incorrect payments while identifying and escalating patterns of payer behavior that impact reimbursement
About You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in a reimbursement-related role; DME experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical and insurance terminology required
- Demonstrated effectiveness communicating with insurance companies regarding medical policies and payer contracts
What We Offer
The pay range which Novocure expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting is $62,000 - $93,000/yr. This position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant in addition to a full range of benefits. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and skills demonstrated.
We offer a flexible, trust-based hybrid working model for most of our office-based roles. Employees are asked to be in the office three days per week. We understand that life is not always predictable, so if you need to adjust your schedule, such as leaving early or starting late occasionally, we trust you to balance your time in a way that works for both you and Novocure.
