WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS JOB
- This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation records of all testing executed, keeping abreast of future technologies.
- Supports complex systems and applications in Stage and Production environments, through all phases of deployment.
- Drives solutions for problems escalated from other teams and collaborate with Engineering for overall stability and management of the production environment.
- Identifies and implements improvements to the process, procedures, documentation, and systems.
- Provides off-hours coverage and support for maintenance during outage windows.
- Some domestic and international travel required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 3 years of experience with IT change and problem management procedures.
- 3 years of experience with Agile processes and DevOps mentalities and practices.
- Native Sabre subject matter expert.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of experience with Apple iOS and Mobile Applications.
- 4+ years of experience with Jamf, SOTI or similar MDM Applications.
- Airline industry experience, particularly in Passenger Service Systems and Global Distribution Systems.
SKILLS, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
- Basic understanding of the IT project lifecycle at American Airlines.
- Proven ability to efficiently diagnose an issue, as well as propose and implement a solution.
- Ability to draft and formalize technical documentation.
- Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of server hardware, operating system, and application monitoring.
