ROLE SUMMARY
The Learning Adoption & Operations Specialist supports the successful launch and ongoing delivery of Learning & Development programs by executing launch plans, engagement activities and operational logistics. This role contributes to learning adoption through coordinated communications, marketing efforts and content support. The specialist administers data collection, reporting and platform support to enable insight generation and continuous improvement, operating within established governance standards to ensure consistent, accessible and high-quality learning experiences at scale.
KEY DUTIES:
- Build pilot and launch delivery plans and manage logistics, scheduling, facilitators, rooms, vendors, and readiness checks.
- Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns and communications calendars; track reach, engagement and conversion to enrollment and completion.
- Support and co-own launch readiness, producing assets, facilitator kits, and champion networks (e.g., HRBPs, embedded/functional training teams, etc.).
- Curate, maintain and audit content on L&D intranet sites and resources (e.g, TeamAAG).
- Implement and maintain program metrics defined by L&D frameworks (e.g., enrollment, completion, adoption, knowledge/behavior change, ROI); analyze results and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports including data visualization; prepare insights for stakeholders and recommend actions that improve outcomes.
- Manage intake tracking, baseline data collection, and demand planning to inform planning and prioritization.
- Coordinate logistics (scheduling, facilitators, rooms/vendors) and ensure day-of delivery support; support after-action reviews and corrective actions to strengthen execution.
- Partner with Learning Technology Specialist to enable LMS reporting, troubleshoot issues, and ensure privacy/compliance for data collection.
- Maintain templates, SOPs, and continuous improvement backlog; operate within governance standards and escalate policy/standard questions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years in learning and development operations, analytics, engagement, communications, or program coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, education, data analytics, communications, marketing, or related field; or 2 additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency with data analysis and data visualization (e.g., Excel, Power BI/Tableau).
- Experience with campaign planning and strong writing skills.
- Demonstrated ability to support and improve adoption through data-informed actions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience in L&D (design, governance, facilitation, etc.).
- Experience curating intranet content and brand-aligned assets; exposure to internal comms platforms.

SALARY RANGE: $61,800.00 - $102,000.00 / year
PAY DETAILS:
This position has the potential to be based in either Honolulu, HI or Seattle, WA. Pay range for each location are as follows:
Honolulu, HI:
$61,800.00 - $92,700.00
Seattle, WA:
$68,000.00 - $102,000.00
Salary will be based on multiple factors, including and not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset while balancing internal equity relative to other Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon employees. Alaska/Hawaiian/Horizon is committed to fair, unbiased compensation along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate.
Note: We don’t typically hire at the top of the range.
