Role Description
This full-time Automotive Technician role is an on-site position located in Spokane, WA. The Automotive Technician will perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations, to ensure vehicles are safe and reliable. The role includes diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, working on brakes, suspension, and other key systems, and completing repair orders accurately and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will use diagnostic tools and service manuals, follow manufacturer and dealership repair standards, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This position will also collaborate with service advisors and teammates to communicate repair needs, timelines, and recommendations to support a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Vehicle Maintenance, including routine inspections and preventive service.
- Hands-on experience with Oil Changes and basic fluid and filter services.
- Proficiency in Automotive Repair and Maintenance & Repair for a variety of vehicle systems.
- Experience working on Suspension and related ride and handling components.
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, service information systems, and standard shop equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Automotive vocational training, manufacturer training, or ASE certifications preferred.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
