Which cities in Washington have the most medical devices sponsorship jobs?
Seattle dominates with companies in Bothell, Redmond, and surrounding suburbs housing major medical technology operations. Spokane has growing manufacturing facilities, while Tacoma hosts several smaller medical device companies. The I-405 corridor from Bellevue to Everett contains the highest concentration of visa-sponsoring medical devices employers.
What visa types are most common for medical devices roles in Washington?

Are prevailing wages higher for medical devices jobs in Washington?
Yes, Washington's medical devices roles typically command higher prevailing wages than the national average due to Seattle's competitive tech market. What is the prevailing wage for sponsored medical devices jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
