Responsibilities:
Hamilton Robotics is seeking a Service Technician to join our Robotics team, supporting, repairing, and maintaining robotic instrumentation. As a Service Technician with Hamilton Company you will be tasked with providing high quality repairs of electromechanical systems for customers as well as for internal company use.
- Troubleshoot and repair Hamilton equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
- Fill out paperwork and reports related to any repair work.
- Manage work station inventory for commonly used repair parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high desire for quality.
- Demonstrated experience working in production as well as an office setting.
- Ability and willingness to work in a safety conscious manner necessary due to potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.
- Ability to learn new robotic operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- An Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology or comparable is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years Technician experience, preferably in the biotech / life science field.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move approximately 60 lbs.
