As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$285,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Partner with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to manage one or more cross-site programs within the product portfolio.
- Drive product development lifecycle including concept/initiation, planning, execution, product release, and post launch customer support.
- Partner with go-to-market teams to support customer adoption and address customer agreement blockers.
- Absorb and understand the GKE ecosystem and integration points.
- Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity and scope. Build consensus, drive projects, schedule, plans, execution, and communicate status to stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 7 years of experience in managing technically-challenging projects spanning a wide set of cross-functional stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- 5 years of experience as a software engineer/engineering manager, product manager, and other technical roles in delivering commercial enterprise software products and services.
- Experience with distributed systems, GCP, third-party Cloud products, and with OSS, Kubernetes, and AI workload orchestration ecosystem.
- Ability to plan, scope, and take on responsibility for technical projects and drive them to completion through execution and governance.
