About You:
- Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering premedication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, dental prophylactics, radiographs, etc.)
- Passionate about learning and caring for animals.
- You understand the importance of maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.
- Previous leadership experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead by example in daily patient care and treatment.
- Train and support new and existing veterinary technicians and assistants.
- Help develop, implement, and maintain clinical protocols and SOPs.
- Support consistent hospital workflows and improve daily efficiency.
- Help coordinate technician schedules and daily staffing needs.
- Provide team encouragement, coaching, and feedback.
- Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins with team members.
- Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help create a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Support veterinarians with appointments, surgery, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Promote a calm, low-stress experience for patients.
- Help shape the culture of a growing veterinary team.
Anticipated Schedule:
- Monday - Saturday
- Business hours of 7am-6:30pm, no nights, no on-call, no Sundays
- Closed on major holidays
Compensation:
- $28-35 per hour depending on experience
