The Quality Control Manager (QC Manager) is responsible for overseeing and leading all quality assurance and quality control activities within Campos Fabrication. This role ensures that the fabrication and production processes meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures across all fabrication shop operations (Currently Denver and Amherst).
- Conduct audits and inspections of production processes across all fabrication shop operations (Currently Denver and Amherst).
- Lead corrective and preventive action initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance data.
- Lead, train, and manage quality control personnel.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
- Handle customer quality concerns and complaints.
- Maintain detailed quality records and documentation.
- Coordinate supplier quality and raw material compliance.
- Prepare and present quality reports to leadership.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control or assurance required.
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and compliance requirements.
- Prior work experience in oil and gas, manufacturing, and welding.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
