Which consulting companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Utah?
Consulting firms with an established Utah presence, including the Big Four accounting and advisory firms and regional technology consultancies in the Salt Lake City and Lehi areas, have filed Labor Condition Applications for H-1B1 visa Chile workers. Sponsorship activity is concentrated among employers large enough to have dedicated HR and immigration compliance teams. Reviewing DOL LCA disclosure data helps identify which specific firms have recent H-1B1 Chile filing history in Utah.
Which cities in Utah have the most consulting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City holds the greatest concentration of consulting employers in Utah, with significant activity from professional services firms and technology consultancies. Lehi, in Utah County, has grown as a secondary hub through Silicon Slopes, attracting management and IT consulting work. Sandy and Provo also host consulting offices, though LCA filings are densest in the greater Salt Lake metro area.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that qualify must meet the H-1B1 specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In consulting, this commonly includes management consulting analysts, IT strategy consultants, financial advisory specialists, cybersecurity consultants, and data analytics consultants. General business development or account management positions that do not require a specific specialized degree are less likely to qualify.
How do I find consulting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search: you can filter by visa type, including H-1B1 Chile, and by industry to surface consulting roles posted by Utah employers with verified LCA filing history. This removes the guesswork of identifying which firms have actually sponsored H-1B1 Chile workers in the state. Narrowing by city, such as Salt Lake City or Lehi, helps focus results on the most active hiring markets.
Are there any Utah-specific or consulting-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Utah has no state-level visa sponsorship requirements that differ from federal rules, but consulting firms here often staff projects across multiple client sites throughout the state. The H-1B1 Chile requires a separate Labor Condition Application for each worksite where wages and conditions differ materially. Chilean nationals should also note the H-1B1 does not carry dual-intent provisions, so maintaining clear nonimmigrant intent is important throughout the sponsorship process.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile consulting jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
