Which accounting companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Washington?
The Big Four firms, Deloitte, PwC, Ernst & Young, and KPMG, maintain significant presences in Seattle and Bellevue and have established sponsorship programs that include H-1B1 Chile filings. Mid-size regional firms such as Clark Nuber and Moss Adams, both headquartered in the Seattle metro area, also appear in DOL Labor Condition Application records for accounting roles. Technology companies like Microsoft and Amazon sponsor accounting and finance positions as well.
Which cities in Washington have the most accounting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Seattle accounts for the highest concentration of accounting H-1B1 visa Chile sponsorship activity in Washington, driven by its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, financial services firms, and Big Four offices. Bellevue and Redmond follow closely, anchored by large technology employers with in-house accounting teams. Spokane and Tacoma offer a smaller but active market of regional firms and public-sector finance roles that occasionally sponsor H-1B1 Chile workers.
What types of accounting roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that require at least a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field generally qualify as specialty occupations for H-1B1 Chile purposes. In Washington, common qualifying titles include certified public accountant, tax analyst, external auditor, financial reporting analyst, and management accountant. Positions where a general business degree without an accounting concentration satisfies the requirement may face additional scrutiny from USCIS when establishing specialty occupation status.
How do I find accounting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa type, letting you search for accounting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship roles in Washington without manually screening each employer. Because Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data, you can see which Washington employers have an active history of filing for H-1B1 Chile workers in accounting occupations, giving you a more targeted shortlist than a general job search would provide.
Are there any Washington state considerations that affect H-1B1 Chile accounting sponsorship?
Washington has no state income tax, which can affect how employers structure compensation packages for sponsored accounting professionals, and compliance staff at larger firms must account for this when preparing prevailing-wage documentation. Washington's strong technology sector means many accounting sponsorship opportunities are embedded within finance teams at software or e-commerce companies rather than traditional public accounting firms, so candidates should broaden their search beyond standalone CPA firms when targeting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile accounting jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
