As an Industrial Water/Wastewater Engineering Principal at CEC, you will develop strategic vision, lead the growth and expansion of client relationships, and work with engineers and scientists to direct and manage a wide range of industrial water and wastewater projects. You will collaborate across multiple office locations and with Market Group leaders to expand services and drive revenue growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide expert technical guidance and advisory support to clients and internal teams
- Develop and oversee project scope, schedule, quality assurance, and cost control
- Lead and direct multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion
- Expand existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities within Manufacturing, Mining, Power, and Solid Waste markets
- Lead and participate in industry networking and business development efforts
- Actively support recruiting, hiring, and mentoring staff to meet project and client needs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
- Strong understanding of consulting project management principles and delivery tools
- Technical expertise in industrial water and wastewater systems and projects
- Extensive experience with:
- Process calculations
- Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Mass balance development
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Process control and instrumentation systems
- Equipment and piping specifications
