Entry Level AI Product Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level ai product manager job?
Entry level ai product manager roles reward candidates who can show they understand both users and AI systems. Employers at this stage look for internship experience, side projects, or coursework involving product thinking, data analysis, or machine learning tools. A concise portfolio that documents a problem you solved, the tradeoffs you weighed, and the outcome you measured gives you a clear edge over candidates with an identical resume.
Which companies hire entry level ai product managers?
Companies hiring entry level ai product managers right now include Google, Capgemini, and UAB Medicine, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hiring at this level comes from a wide range of employers, from early-stage AI startups building their first product teams to large technology companies running structured associate product manager programs.
Are there remote entry level ai product manager jobs?
Yes, though availability varies by employer and team. About 23% of entry level ai product manager openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so a meaningful share of roles offer location flexibility. Many early-career candidates find that hybrid roles can be a strong fit, since in-person time with senior product managers tends to accelerate learning at this stage.
Are these new grad ai product manager jobs?
Yes, the listings on this page include new grad, recent graduate, and junior ai product manager roles. A posting is typically new-grad friendly when it welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or academic projects toward that threshold, or explicitly invites a portfolio in place of a long work history. Searching for "junior" or "associate" in the title often surfaces the most accessible openings for new grads entering the field.
Which industries hire the most entry level ai product managers?
Entry level ai product manager roles concentrate in Healthcare & Medical Services, Technology & Software, and Education, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive early-career hiring because they are actively building AI-powered products and need junior product managers who can work across engineering, design, and data teams without requiring years of domain-specific experience.
