Focus your search on Los Angeles sectors with the heaviest analytics demand: entertainment and streaming, financial services firms in Century City, and health systems across the Westside and Mid-Wilshire corridor. Candidates who combine SQL and data visualization skills with industry fluency in media or finance stand out locally. Boutique consulting firms near Culver City and Santa Monica also hire steadily and often prefer candidates with client-facing experience over pure technical backgrounds.
Which companies hire analytics consultants in Los Angeles?

The local market includes a wide mix of entertainment conglomerates, regional banks, health networks, and digital agencies, all of which run in-house analytics practices alongside third-party consulting engagements.
Are there remote analytics consultant jobs in Los Angeles?

About 31% of analytics consultant openings tied to Los Angeles are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting the city's strong tech and media employer base. Modeling, reporting, and dashboard work tends to be fully remote, while client-presentation and stakeholder-alignment phases more often require in-person presence in Los Angeles.
How can I get a analytics consultant job in Los Angeles with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Los Angeles is landing a junior analyst or business intelligence analyst role at a mid-size digital agency, health system, or streaming company, then moving into consulting work once you have a project portfolio. Employers in Culver City and El Segundo frequently hire entry-level analysts who show proficiency in Tableau or Power BI. Internships with LA's entertainment studios or fintech startups also convert to full-time analytics roles at a higher rate than in most other cities.
