Job Overview
- Develop highly scalable services and applications supporting client Post Transactions experience, including order amendments, order details, quantity changes, payment updates, and address modifications.
- Design, build, and maintain software capable of processing millions of requests per day.
- Solve complex software engineering problems related to scale, monetization, distributed systems, and high-volume data processing.
- Lead technical solutions for complex scalability and business problems.
- Design and develop large-scale distributed systems and highly available applications.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs, services, and microservices supporting high-volume transaction platforms.
- Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, View Model, Coroutines/Flow, and Room.
- Implement application architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns aligned with Google's Android best practices.
- Design and implement event-driven architectures for high-volume transactional systems.
- Develop and integrate Kafka or other high-volume, low-latency messaging infrastructure.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure Cloud Stack or other major cloud platforms.
- Apply cloud architecture principles to build scalable, resilient, and highly available systems.
- Participate in the discovery phase of projects and contribute to high-level system and technical design.
- Translate business and product requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Evaluate alternative implementation approaches and provide recommendations based on technical feasibility, ROI, scalability, and business value.
- Create and maintain high-level and low-level design documents, technical specifications, and architecture documentation.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure software quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot production issues, defects, and bugs and drive timely resolution.
- Analyze technical issues through research, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Business, UX, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Communicate technical concepts, implementation strategies, risks, and solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance on system implications, implementation strategies, and short- and long-term solutions.
- Manage and contribute to small- to large-sized complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective handoffs.
- Identify opportunities to improve system scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Ensure solutions are sustainable across implementation, deployment, and ongoing production use.
- Work with microservices architecture, open-source libraries, design patterns, and modern software engineering practices.
- Implement and support CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes.
