How you'll make an impact
The Salesforce Senior Application Developer serves as the primary technical authority and platform owner for the enterprise Salesforce Platform with strong focus on Salesforce’s Revenue Cloud Advanced/ CPQ capabilities. This cross-functional role combines solution architecture, technical governance, and hands-on engineering leadership. The candidate will be responsible for defining end-to-end technical designs, establishing scalable architecture standards, governing product catalog and pricing frameworks, and delivering high-quality Salesforce solutions using both declarative and programmatic approaches. The ideal candidate must possess strong requirement analysis skills, be a quick learner, embrace AI usage and have hands-on experience with modern development tools such as VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Copilot. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to drive scalable enterprise platform solutions and integration strategies.
Technical Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and architect scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards and business requirements.
- Define end-to-end technical architecture across Salesforce platform capabilities including Revenue Cloud Advanced.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation strategies.
- Lead solution design sessions, architectural reviews, and technical best practice discussions.
- Establish architecture patterns, coding standards, and governance processes.
Application Development
- Develop and support Salesforce applications using:
- Apex Classes & Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Aura Components
- Salesforce Flows & Automation
- OmniStudio / Digital Process Automation
- Design robust integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement scalable long-term solutions.
- Support CI/CD deployment processes, release management, and environment strategies.
Platform Governance & Technical Leadership
- Establish clear standards for declarative vs. programmatic development approaches.
- Govern scalable configuration frameworks and custom extension strategies.
- Utilize VS Code, Git, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Copilot (AI) to streamline development activities.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise development standards.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with business, QA, DevOps, and stakeholder teams within Agile delivery models.
Database & Integration
- Build and optimize Salesforce Integrations with external applications and enterprise systems.
- Good to have experience with SQL Server databases, queries, and data processing.
- Support enterprise data migration and large data handling strategies.
